Silver Pendant Nautilus

A Nautilus floats in the blue ocean.

This pendant is handmade of 925 Sterling silver. The blue color is enamel. The other surface is matted silver or gilded. The pendant is about 3,8 cm wide and about 3,5 cm high.

This designer jewelry belongs to our collection "Valley of Kings". This collection is characterized by elaborately crafted surfaces. Typical are enamel, structured matting and gilding.

The enamel serves to apply colors to the silver. For this purpose, a corresponding enamel is applied to the silver and melted at high temperatures and short burning time, so that a glassy solidified color layer is formed. A special challenge arises when applying several colors, as they each have different melting points.

The structured matting is created by using a dull brush. One narrow strip after another is roughened by fine blows. This procedure is very time-consuming, but gives the designer many design options for structuring the matting.

In this way handmade and unique pieces are created. Thus, they may have slight deviations from the jewelry shown in the photos.

As standard, we supply this pendant with a 45 cm long chain consisting of multiple thin strands of steel (depicted in photo 1 und 2). For this multi-strand design, the material steel is ideal with its strength and flexibility. The clasp on this chain is made of 925 Sterling silver.

Alternatively, we offer the pendant on a single-stranded Omega chain made entirely of 925 Sterling silver for a surcharge of 30 € (depicted in photo 3). This chain is also 45 cm long and has a thickness of 1.5 mm. If you choose this silver chain, please select the variant „Silver Chain“ in the box "ChainMaterial".
